Meet the Counselor
Hi!
I am currently starting my fourth year as a school counselor and my second year as the School Counselor at Pleasant Hill. I graduated from Butler University in May of 2020 with a Masters of Science in School Counseling. While completing my degree at Butler, I worked part-time in an afterschool program in Indianapolis, before completing my internship with Lore Apple at Sugar Creek, in which I was also a paraprofessional for 1st grade. Concluding my final year at Butler, I interned with the school counselor at Crawfordsville Middle School and simultaneously was a paraprofessional for the alternative classroom (MAP) and 6th grade Language Arts' teacher. Following graduation, I became the school counselor at Williamsport and Pine Village Elementary Schools (I split my time between the two). Prior to applying for Butler's School Counseling Program, I taught English at a University in China for four years.
I am so thankful to be back in North Montgomery School District. It is a joy to come along side of your students to help them grow academically, socially, emotionally, and as individuals.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
