Art
Welcome to my info page! I grew up in Munster, Indiana, which is located in northern Indiana in “The Region”. I graduated from Bishop Noll Institute which is now called Hammond Noll. I received bachelor degrees in Fine Arts and Art Education, and a Masters Degree from Purdue University. Go Purdue!!!! I got my very first teaching job at Linden School teaching kindergarten through 8th grade. Three years later the school became K – 5 and for the next 12 years, I taught both Art and Music. “Wizard of Oz”, “Snow White”, “Annie”, “Sound of Music”, “Peter Pan”, and “Cinderella” were a few of the wonderful musicals we did back during that memorable time. The last year at Linden I also traveled to Darlington to teach art. Our Beloved Linden School was torn down and we came to brand new Pleasant Hill. For 14 years I traveled back and forth between Sommer Elementary and Pleasant Hill teaching Art. One year I traveled between Sugar Creek and Pleasant Hill teaching Art and Kindergarten Music. I have been blessed for the last 7 years getting to stay at Pleasant Hill and not have to travel. Pleasant Hill is especially precious to me because I had many parents and even a few grandparents of my current students. I love my job and I love keeping up with my formers students and their activities. No one could have a more wonderful career than I have and I hope to stay for several more years!!!!
